ABOUT THE DELEGATES

With exclusive access to the WFUNA Global Model UN conference—including access to film inside the General Assembly Hall at the United Nations during the program—The Delegates is a feature documentary that carries the emotional weight of Boys State and the inspirational tone of the Emmy Award-winning Science Fair: The Series.

This character-driven documentary follows four to six delegates as they navigate a week of new experiences, global issues, cultural differences, and everyday teenage life. At its core, The Delegates is an emotional celebration of youth—and an intimate glimpse at how global diplomacy is tested and tomorrow’s leaders begin to take shape.

The Delegates is moving toward production in 2027, with September Club joining the film as a creative partner through post-production and committing initial production financing.

The film is fiscally sponsored by the International Documentary Association (IDA), with tax-deductible contributions supporting production—from following our delegates and their families around the world to putting our crew and cameras on the ground in New York.
